Barbara French

Barbara began her journey with CHEC in September 2019 as a Scrub Nurse and has since developed a broad range of skills, particularly in minor operations and surgical procedures. Her dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care has allowed her to advance within the organisation, and in July 2024, she was promoted to Theatre Lead. In this leadership role, Barbara oversees the smooth operation of the theatre team, ensuring they consistently deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care to all patients.

Throughout her time at CHEC, Barbara has focused on continuously improving her clinical skills while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment within the theatre team. She takes great pride in ensuring every patient receives personalised care tailored to their individual needs and that her team maintains the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

As Theatre Lead, Barbara is committed to upholding CHEC’s core values of excellence, teamwork, and patient-first care, ensuring each surgery is performed with precision and compassion.
