Koushik Roy

Koushik is an Associate Specialist Ophthalmologist and Clinical Lead for the South Region at CHEC, where he has been contributing to patient care and service development since August 2018. He began his journey with CHEC in Stoke before relocating to Hertfordshire in 2019. Koushik’s professional qualifications were initially obtained in India, where he trained in Ophthalmology and completed fellowship training in Oculoplasty. After moving to the UK, he successfully cleared the FRCS exams in Ophthalmology and gained extensive experience in various training and service roles across England.

Koushik is proficient in managing a wide range of ophthalmic conditions and performing various ophthalmic procedures. In his current role as Clinical Lead, he is also enhancing his management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and fostering a collaborative environment within CHEC’s clinical teams.
