Vicky Westgate

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare management, Vicky is proud to serve as the Hospital Manager for CHEC Newcastle. Before joining CHEC in 2022, Vicky spent 15 years at Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as an Out-Patient Manager for the Directorate of Medicine. Following that, she worked for 5 years as a GP Practice Manager within Newcastle and Northumberland GP Practices. Additionally, Vicky has been an active member of the Executive Committee for the Foundation for European Nurses of Diabetes (FEND) for over 15 years.

Vicky has always been deeply passionate about the NHS and dedicated to providing high-quality, safe care for all patients—a value that CHEC holds at its core. At CHEC Newcastle, Vicky feels fortunate to work with a team of highly experienced professionals in ophthalmology and endoscopy, who are equally committed to delivering exceptional care.
