Connecting with Optometrists We would like to thank Farzana Makda, Professional Capability- Lead for CPD at Boots who has been instrumental in allowing us to effectively reach and engage with community optometrists across the UK. Engaging with the Sector and Supporting Professional Growth CHEC are thrilled to have been invited to the Boots CPD events which are held all over the UK. Our dedicated Community Partners have enjoyed attending and exhibiting at each event and connecting with professionals from around the UK. These events have proven immensely valuable for: Contributing to professional support and development through meaningful dialogue about the future of patient care. Informing the Optometry professionals of the NHS Services provided by CHEC. Solidifying our relationships within the eye care sector. Successful Outreach: Event Round-up The level of engagement and attendance at the events we’ve participated in has been outstanding. Since our inaugural event at Chelsea Football Club on the 4th of September, we have had the privilege of meeting hundreds of optometrists, detailing how CHEC can provide crucial support for both them and their patients. Subsequent highly successful events in Glasgow, Trafford (Manchester), and Cheltenham have firmly established the significance and value of this partnership.
